Penghargaan Golden Globe: Antara Skandal dan Nominasi

NEW YORK -- Perhelatan penghargaan tahunan Golden Globe ke-80 akan digelar di Beverly Hilton Hotel, Beverly Hills pada 10 Januari 2023. Acara ini akan dipandu oleh stand up komedian, Jerrod Carmichael.

ABC News melaporkan Golden Globe kali ini digelar usai skandal atas etika dan keragaman dari Asosiasi Pers Asing Hollywood (HFPA) pada 2021 silam. Acara tersebut sempat tidak digelar selama satu tahun setelah skandal dan boikot yang membuat HFPA berantakan.

Melansir New York Times, NBC sempat membatalkan agenda tahunan tersebut. Kemudian acara diadakan kecil-kecilan di ballroom pada Januari lalu tanpa mengundang bintang besar dan pemenang diumumkan melalui Twitter.

Menurut keterangan Rotten Tomatoes, sitkom NBC Lopez vs Indie Darlings The Banshees of Inisherin dan Everything Everywhere All at Once memimpin nominasi Golden Globe 2023. Masing-masing dengan delapan dan enam nominasi.
